Welcome.

Making a connection with a new therapist is an important step. I feel passionate about the transformational potential of psychotherapy and hope this website gives you a flavour of how I work.

About Me

My passion for psychotherapy began a long time ago. I discovered psychotherapy as a client in my early 20s. This was such a rich experience, I decided to change career and train as an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist.

I am an openly gay man (he/him) and also a dad. I moved to the U.K. in my 20s from Ireland.

I have a passion for working with people with diverse gender, sexuality and relationship identities. I work hard at being an ally to people from Black and minority ethnic groups. I am continuing to understand the areas of my life where I have privilege and the impact for those who don’t have the same privilege

I am an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist, registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists. I worked in NHS Mental Health services for 25 years and have had a private psychotherapy practice for 20 years.
I love my job and feel grateful that my work allows me to be alongside my clients in understanding areas of difficulty in their life and helping them to make changes.

There are many paths that can lead to change, growth and self-discovery, paths that support the unearthing of a deeper contentment and psychotherapy is one of those paths.
